Well, I finally tossed my reticence and joined the HNT club. Wow, I feel so . . . exposed. I gotta admit though, this giddy freedom I get from casting off the thick outer layer feels great. Why do we wear shoes anyway?

Here's another thought--It's funny how pictures allow us to study, like laboratory rats, the subjects we photograph. I'm now inexplicably drawn, as I view my naked feet, into a curious session of self examination: why do they look so different? Followed, instantly, by the cold realization: I am not symmetrical. ;-) It's odd, isn't it. But I guess all our paired parts are like that, right? I mean, do our hands look alike, or our . . . well you get my drift. Happy HNT everyone. I promise not to be so self-critical in the future.
